I am a passionate Christ-follower, author, and past speaker at the first four BJM conferences. My blog Devotion in Action helps other Christians actively pursue Christ-centered lives through devotional posts with action steps and Bible art journaling tutorials. I am a homeschooling mama with a son off in his second year of college and a daughter who is a junior in high school.

In addition, I lead worship with my husband who is on staff at our church and teach music part-time at a local private school. I have never been an artist - we didn't even have art classes at my school when I was growing up! Over the past 6 years, God has been drawing me (pun intended!) closer to Himself through creative response to His word. Bible art journaling has been transformative in my devotional life and I hope to share some of what I have learned along the way with you! Let's create together!
